IIST is inviting admission form for the following courses:
A. B.Tech -Aerospace Engineering
B. B.Tech - Avionics
C. B.Tech - Physical Sciences
Educational Qualification:
Entrants should have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as one of the important subject at last degree attained or at intermediate level.
Aspirants who belong to general category or OBC category must have secured at least 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in aggregate at the last qualified examination.
And those who belong to SC/ST/PD should have secured at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in aggregate at the last qualified examination.
The most important criteria is that the candidate should have passed JEE Main examination.
Age Limit Criteria:
Only those aspirants who are born after October 01, 1988 are eligible to apply for the exams.
However, age limit is relaxed for the candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe or Persons with Disabilities. These aspirants should be born after October 1, 1983. A relaxation of five year is provided for the candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe or Persons with Disabilities.
Date of birth will be considered valid only which is recorded with board with which aspirant has passed the intermediate level.
Applying Procedure:
Aspirants are required to fill the form in online mode or can download the admission form from the official website of university. Aspirants should not forget to attach the demand draft along with admission form to pay the admission fees.
Candidates should draw the Demand draft in favor of Registrar, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
