The University is recognized under University Grant commission.  Its other affiliation is AICTE, NCTE and DEC. it is also awarded with ISO certificate. It invites application for the PHD Program. 

Courses:

Dr. C.V. Raman University invites application for graduate program in Bachelor of Engineering. List of branches and courses are given below:

4. Computer Science & Engineering(CS)

5. Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)

Duration of Course:

Duration of all courses is 4 years.

Seats:

CVRU invites application for 120 seats for Mechanical Engineering (Mech) and Civil Engineering (CE).  However only 60 seats are there in rest of the courses. 

Educational Qualification: - Minimum Educational qualification required for different courses is given below:

Candidate should be at least intermediate passed (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) with minimum 44.5%. Relaxation in marks is provided for SC/ST category. They are required to secured minimum 39.5% at intermediate (10+2) level.

Candidates are also required to pass CG-PET with minimum 9.5% for General category. However minimum marks required in CG-PET for SC/ST and OBC is 4.5%.

Counseling Dates:

Online counseling will be done for the candidates of Chhattisgarh for the B.E. program. 

1^st part of counseling is scheduled on 15.6.2013 to 26.6.2013.

2^nd part of counseling is scheduled on 5.7.2013 to 8.7.2013

3^rd part of counseling is scheduled on 13.7.2013 to 16.7.2013

4^th part of counseling is scheduled on 22.7.2013 to 24.7.2013.

Applying Procedure:

Interested candidates are required to download the application form from the official website of university. Candidates who want to go for offline payment are required to download the Challan form from the website while filing the application form. And submit the cash in SBI nearby branch along with the downloaded Challan. 

Age Limit:

Candidates should not be more than 30 years. However 3 years of age relaxation is provided for ST, SC, OBC and Women.
