SSC Stenographer Grade C and D Recruitment-2013 

SSC refers to Staff Selection Commission. It was set up on 26th- september-1977. The main function of this organization is to conduct examinations and recruit Indian candidates to fulfill the vacant posts coming under departments of Indian Government and ministries. Similarly, this year also SSC invites application to recruit  Stenographer Grade C and D.


According to the notification, the examination for Grade C vacancies is scheduled to be conducted on 07-June-2013.

Written examination for the post of Stenographer Grade officer C & D is scheduled on 11-August-2013.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:-

      Candidate must be 12th passed from a recognized institution.
      Must be an Indian National.
      Age limit should be 18-27 years.

HOW TO APPLY:-

In this era of technology and internet services, it is evident that mode is online application only. Willing candidates are supposed to visit the official website www.sscsr.gov.in  and fill the form online by giving all the mandatory details and check it twice before clicking the submit button.


HOW TO MAKE PAYMENT 

·      For ONLINE mode, challan, or a printout of E-slip is needed, which is payable at any of SBI branch. However, another option is the use of Credit/ Debit card .

       For OFFLINE mode, candidate is required to pay Rs. 100/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS), and then it must be neatly placed on the application form, failing for which may lead to the cancellation of the registration and application form. SELECTION PROCEDURE:- 

The candidates will be judged and selected on the basis of their scores in written exam. The written test comprises 200 questions of 200 marks. The candidates are supposed to attempt them within 2 hours duration for general candidates; however the time limit for physical handicapped candidates is 2 hours, 40 minutes. Negative marking will be also there. For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. 

The Questions for the written tests will be covering the topics from General Science, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension.
