University:
The Guru Nanak Dev University was established
on 24th November 1969 as a mark of 500th Anniversary of
Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Located at Amritsar, the university is devoted to providing
higher education in the disciplines of Humanities, Sciences, Arts, Management,
Information Technology, Industrial Technology, Environment, Planning,
Architecture and other applied disciplines. The university works under the
motto of Guru’s Wisdom Illumines as an ideal of the university. The university is
affiliated to more than 100 colleges located in five districts Amritsar, Jalandhar,
Kapurthala, Nawanshehar and Gurdaspur respectively.

The University conducts its annual
examinations twice in the month of April and September each year for all the
admitted candidates. The candidates who appeared in the university examinations
