NET Exam 2013
1. Candidate must have master’s degree with min. 55%, no round off figures, from subjects mentioned in the official website of the UGC. This is 5% less for special category person like schedules cast, tribe and PWD.
2. Those who have degree in P.hd will be getting five percent relaxation in total marks obtained, subject to fulfill other conditions
3. Candidate must select the subject in which they have qualified PG.
The national eligibility test (NET)
is conducted by UGC (University Grant Commission) for doing research in any
area/field opted by candidate from any recognized university across India.For
updates visit sarkarinaukridetails.com. Candidate qualified in NET exam are
eligible to enroll themselves in P.hd directly. This exam is conducted for JRF
and lectureship both or lectureship only. Candidate can apply till
3may,2013.
Age Restriction:
- There is a limit for JRF applying candidate which is 28yrs, five yrs age relaxation is given to OBC, SC, ST and physically challenged persons.
- No age restriction for lectureship.

Paper1 is immediately followed by
Paper2.
There is minimum %marks for each
paper to qualify and this is at the discretion of the UGC body to prepare merit
list separately for JRF and lectureship.
Content of paper1 and paper2
Paper 1 will contain questions of general knowledge and affairs,
computers, DI, teaching aptitude, research methodology, simple mathematical
questions and test of reasoning.
Paper2 and paper3 are based on candidate opted subject for exam and will check
the domain knowledge of candidate.

Other Important point
Coordinating universities are
entitled to receive the application form send by the candidate. List of
coordinating universities is given on ugc site.
Changes are not allowed in
coordinating universities once it is selected.
