National Institute of Technology has given notifications for
MCA Entrance test. This programme is available at the centers of Warangal,
Tiruchirapallli, Suratkal, Raipur, Kurukshetra, Jamshedpur, Durgapur, Calicut,
Bhopal, Allahabad, Agartala. Candidates will get admission on the basis of

Web portal for online registration opens from Feb-13th-2013.
Link for login creation will get disabled on Apr-13th-2013.
Apr-16th-2013- Ending date for submission of
printed application form through speed post.
Entrance test will be conducted on May-26th-2013.
Time duration is from 10.00 to 12.00 hrs.

General English:
Comprehension, vocabulary, Basic English Grammar, word
power, synonyms and antonyms, meaning of words and phrases, technical writing
Data Representation: Representation of characters, integers
and fractions, binary and hexadecimal representations, and binary arithmetic:
addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, simple arithmetic and two’s
complement arithmetic, floating point representation of numbers, Boolean
algebra, truth tables, Venn diagrams
Mathematics:
Trigonometry: Simple identities, trigonometric equations
properties of triangles, solution of triangles, heights and distances, general
solutions of trigonometric equations
Vectors: Position vector, addition and subtraction of
vectors, scalar and vector products and their applications to simple
geometrical problems and mechanics
Calculus: Limit of functions, continuous function,
differentiation of function, tangents and normals, simple examples of maxima
and minima; Integration of functions by parts, by substitution and by partial
fraction, definite integrals, applications of definite integrals to areas.
Coordinate Geometry: Rectangular Cartesian coordinates,
distance formulae, equation of a line, and intersection of lines, pair of
straight lines, equations of a circle, parabola, ellipse, and hyperbola
Algebra: Fundamental operations in algebra, expansions,
factorization, simultaneous linear/quadratic equations, indices, logarithms,
arithmetic, geometric and harmonic progressions, determinants and matrices
Probability and Statistics: Basic concepts of probability
theory, Averages, Dependent and independent events, frequency distributions,
measures of central tendencies and dispersions
Set Theory: Concepts of sets-Union, Intersection,

Candidates can obtain their admit cards simply by entering
Registration number.
Bring the hard copy of admit card in examination hall.
