ISM refers to Indian School of Mines that is located in
Dhanbad, Jharkhand, which is well famous for coal mines. ISM is a deemed
university, registered under the section 3 of UGC. The region where ISM is
located is mineral rich.
ISM offers B.tech and M.tech/ M.Sc/M.phil/MBA degree in
Engineering with specialized fields of
Mechanical/Mineral/Petrochemicals/Electricals etc as well as geophysics,
geology and many more.

Position- JRF (Junior
Research Fellowship)
Title of Project-
Carbon dioxide sequestration and
simultaneous bio fuel generation using Micro-Algae in a photo Bioreactor.
Number of post- One
Emoluments- Sixteen thousand per month for first two years and eighteen thousand per
month for third year.
Educational
Requirements:
Candidate must hold a B.tech/M.tech or M.Sc. in
Biotechnology or Chemical/Petrochemical engg with good academic record.
Candidates must be well versed with computer applications
and programming.
Age limit of the candidate must not exceed thirty five
years.
Selection
Procedure
Candidates will be called for interview. No TA/DA shall be
paid.

Candidate must send a detailed biodata giving all personal,
academic and career details, indicating project name and number, with attached
Xerox copies of all certificates that are their qualification proofs.
Completed applications must reach to Dr.Chandan Guria,
positively before Apr-30th-2013.
Candidates who have qualified CSIR NET will be given extra
preference.
