IIT Delhi has recently issued a notice for appointment of
librarian, Dy. Librarian and Asst. Librarian in the central library. Willing
and deserving candidates may proceed with their application process.
Candidates are supposed to check the official website to
extract the necessary information regarding eligibility constraints and
application formalities. Some of the basic details are given below.
Post- Librarian
Pay-scale- Thirty seven thousand four hundred to sixty seven
thousand.
Number of Vacancy- One
Post- Dy_Librarian
Pay-scale- Fifteen thousand six hundred to thirty nine
thousand one hundred.
Number of Vacancy- One
Post- Asst_Librarian
Pay-scale- Fifteen thousand six hundred to thirty nine
thousand one hundred.

Educational
Requirements
Candidate’s having Master’s degree in Library science/IT
with fifty five percent marks with excellent academic record are eligible to
apply.
Candidates having M.Phil or PH.D in lib_science will be
given extra preference.
Candidates must have a work experience of eight to ten years
in relevant field.
Candidate must be well versed with computer applications.
Selection
Criteria:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their
performance in interview. The decision of selection panel shall be considered
final.
How to Apply:
Candidates may get the application forms in prescribed
format from IIT, Delhi or get it downloaded from the website.
Application form must be duly filled and sent to the
concerned office, possibly before due date of Jun-4th-2013.
