The Thiruvalluvar University is the state university of Tamil Nadu located in Vellore. The university was brought into existence by the passing of the Thiruvalluvar University Act 2002 by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The university examinations are conducted annually in the months of November-December for all the eligible candidates appearing in the respective exam.
