The Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal
University is located in Srinagar (Garhwal), Uttarakhand. The university was
established on 1st December 1973 under the provisions of the UP
State Universities Act 1973. Initially called as Garhwal University, the
university has a rich infrastructure of the academic facilities and teachers
with a reservoir of knowledge to provide for the high quality education to all
the students of the state.

The university has two campuses, 10 faculties
to its credit for offering higher learning to all the admitted universities of
the state. The university offers degree programs for different courses in its
faculties. The courses range from under graduate to post graduate programs in
different disciplines. The main courses include B.A. (I,II,III), M.A.
(I,II),M.Com (I,II), B.Com (I,II,III), B.Sc. (I,II,III), M.Sc. (I,II)
respectively.

The university normally conducts examination
in the month of March-April and October-November respectively for all the
admitted candidates. The candidates can check their semester results from the
