PET Results 2014 announced
The Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Marathwada University conducts the PET examination also known as the PhD
Entrance Test 2013 for qualifying candidates admitted to the PhD course in the
concerned disciplines for the university. The PET Exam 2013 is scheduled to be
held in the third week of the November 2013. The candidates who have applied
for the exam or will be applying for this exam can find below the details of
the exam and the result.
About
BAMU PET Exam:
The BAMU PET exam is conducted for the
admission to the PhD courses in the university departments for all the eligible
candidates. The minimum eligibility for the PET examination is 55% marks in the
post graduate or the qualifying degree. The candidates of SC/ST category will
be given relaxation up to 5% in this limit. The candidates who are NET/ SET/ SLET/
JRF/ M.Phil qualified will be exempted from giving the exam. The candidates who
have five years of teaching experience in regular service at UG/PG levels or as
Assistant Professor will be also exempted from this examination.
The exam consists of two papers of two hours
each– General Aptitude and Subject Specific. The candidates must score a
minimum of 50% marks in each paper separately for qualifying in the exam. The
candidates must fulfill all the eligibility requirements as stated above as
well as qualify in the PET entrance test with the qualifying marks to get
admitted to the PhD course.

PET Results:
The result of the BAMU PET Result 2013 will
be announced on the university website i.e. bamu.net. The candidates who will
be appearing in the said exam can check their results by logging on to the
above site in the manner stated here. The link for the result will be uploaded
on the website under the new announcements section shortly. The result will be
tentatively announced in the month of December 2013.
