The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, the
national level institute of Medical Studies in India, was basically established
to provide for the higher education in the field of Medical Education and
maintaining high standards in the medical education of India. The institute
invites students from all over India to participate in the programs offered by
the institute at the under graduate, post graduate as well as the research
levels each year to get enrolled for the different courses under the field of
Medicine. Recently the institute has invited students for admission to its PG
Program through an online exam also known as the All India Post Graduate
Medical Examination 2014 which is scheduled to be held on 10th
November 2013 for all the eligible candidates.
The candidates appearing for the exam can
check the details of the examination from the website of AIIMS. The exam offers
admission to students from all over India under the three year PG courses of MD
(Master of Doctorate), MS (Master of Science) and PG Diploma programs of two
years duration for each eligible candidate applying for it. The minimum eligibility
requirement to get enrolled in the PG Program is completion of the compulsory
rotating internship for all the candidates who wish to pursue this course. The
detail of the online exam is available on the website of AIIMS i.e.
aiimsexams.org. Those candidates who are appearing in the exam can see the
instructions for application to the exam from this website.
The results of the AIPGMEE 2013 will be
announced on the website as and when declared. The tentative date for the
declaration of result is 15th February 2014. The candidates can
download their results from the above mentioned website or
aiimsexaminations.org. The result will be based on the merit cum cut off
criteria for all the candidates who appeared in the said exam. The candidates
who qualify in the exam and are shortlisted will be informed about their
selection by the institute either online through e-mails or through speed post
