Eligibility Conditions
Nationality
Applicants
should be a citizen of India for IAS (Indian Administrative Service) and PCS
(Indian Police Service).
Applicants
should be either a citizen of (a)India/(b) Nepal/ (c)Bhutan/ (d)Tibetan refugee
who came over to India before January, 1st 1962/ (e)people who migrated from
Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma, East African countries of the United Republic of
Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the
aim of everlastingly settlement in India.
Certificate
of eligibility should be essentially issued by the Gov. of India.
Applicants
belonging to categories of (b), (c) & (d) above will not be eligible for engagement
to the IFS (Indian Foreign Service).
The
applicants those who are applying for the exam may necessary to make sure that
they accomplish all eligibility criteria for entrance to exam.
Verification
of applicants is done if he/she qualified for Interview/Personality Test. Commission
takes up verification of eligibility criteria with reference to original
documents only.
Age
Criteria
Applicant’s
age should be in between 21 to 30 years as on date Aug 1st 2013.
Relaxation is granted as per government rule.
Eligibility Detail

graduation from repudiated / recognized University/institute. Result awaited/
