Punjab TET Exam

Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test is an Entrance exam conducted by State Council of Education Research Punjab for making candidates eligible for appointment as a teacher at 1-5 class, 6-8 class. For updates visit sarkarinaukridetails.com . Examination Fee of Punjab TET:

For 1-5 class or 6-8 class:

Unreserved /OBC category:  Rs.500/-

ST and SC category:  Rs.300/-

For 1-5 class and 6-8 class both:

Unreserved /OBC category:  Rs.1000/-

ST and SC category: Rs.600/-

No fee for Ex-servicemen.

Educational Qualification:

Minimum desired Educational Qualifications Teacher for Classes 1-5 (Primary Stage):

12th or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks and passed in final year or appearing in final year of two yrs Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

12th or  its equivalent with minimum 45% marks and passed  in final year or appearing in final year of two yrs Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE, Regulations, 2002.

 OR

12th or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks and passed in final year of four-year B.El.Ed.

OR

12th or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks and passed in final year or appearing in final year of two yrs Diploma in Education or Special Education

OR

Graduation and passed in final year or appearing in final year of two yrs Diploma in Elementary Education.

Minimum desired Educational Qualifications Teacher for Classes 6-8 (Elementary Stage):

Graduation and passed in final year or appearing in final year of two yrs Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Bachelors or equivalent with minimum 50% marks and passed in final year of one-year B.Ed.

OR

Bachelors or equivalent with minimum 45% marks and passed in final year of one-year B.Ed in accordance with the NCTE, Regulations, 2002.

 OR

Graduation and passed in final year or appearing in final year of one yr Diploma in Special Education.

OR

12th or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks and passed in final year of four-year B.El.Ed.

OR

12th or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks and passed in final year of four-year B.Sc/B.A Ed.

Relaxation to the above eligibility as per categories.

Examination Pattern of Punjab TET for 1-5 class:

Environmental Studies

Child Development and Pedagogy.

Total Questions are 150 where 30 questions are equally distributed to each section with total marks allotted is 150.

Time Duration is 150minutes.

Validity of Punjab TET Certificate:

7 years from the date of declaration of result.

No restriction to the number of attempts.

Qualifying Marks for Punjab TET:

Unreserved Category: 60%

SC/ST/PWD: 55%
