Recently it releases admission notification for its Ph.D program. More details about the program are given below:
Course:
The university invites eligible application for PH.D in subjects like Science, English, Management, Engineering, Technology and Physical Education.
Ph.D offered in:
A. Mathematics
B. Management
C. Pharmacy
D. Engineering
Duration of Course:
Total duration of course is three (3) years.
Educational Qualification:
I. Eligible applicants should at least have post graduation degree in relevant subject from renowned university. Applicants should at least have secured minimum 60% marks in it.
II. Aspirants who belong to reserved category should secure at least 55% marks in it.
III. Desired applicants who are post graduate in commerce, English or Arts are relaxed by 5% marks.
Individual who want to do Ph.D in management should be a MBA.
IV. Entrants who are post graduate in any other discipline but also has 5 years of working experience in management may also apply for the same.
V. Interested students who are applying for PH.D program in engineering should have engineering degree in last qualified examination.
VI. Candidates who have done MCA or M.Sc are not eligible for Ph.D in the courses like CS (computer science) and engineering branches.
How Candidates will be selected?
There will be two steps:
a.) Written test
b) Interview
Applicants will be selected on the basis of written test and interview.
Aspirants who have qualify JRF or SRF examination will be given priority while selecting candidates.
Procedure to Apply:
Applicants should send the application form before 15 March 2013.
Application fess is Rs 1000/- . For SC/ST it is Rs 500 only. Demand draft should be drawn in favor of Registrar of University, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, payable at Kakinada.
Final Date:
Final date for registration is 15 March 2013.
Application form is available from 17 February 2013.
