Age Limitation:

The criteria for age changes for the recruitment of candidates in different cadre. The overview of age criteria is given below:

For Specialist Officers: Max. 40yrs, Min 20 yrs (this includes post at every scale.)

Probationary Officers:  Max 20 yrs- Min 28 yrs

Clerk: Max 28yr -Min 20yrs

Relaxation in age is extended  to ST, SC, Physically challenged, X-Servicemen, Widow/Divorced/J&K domicile/Person affected in 1984 riots etc are given, check the bank notification.

Eligibility for Application:

Nationality or Citizenship:

Candidates must be citizen of India/subject of Nepal/ subject of Bhutan/Tibetan refugee etc.

Education Qualification:

Candidates should have minimum Graduation degree for any cadre. Although for Specialist Officers, it requires certain type of specialization and work experience as mandatory qualification.

Selection Process:

Candidates are selected on the basis of passing marks obtained by them in the IBPS PO, IBPS SO and IBPS Clerk exam. Thereafter the Candidates will be facing the Common Interview by IBPS, and the it is at the discretion of the bank to call for candidate falling particular merit.

Period for Probation:

The candidates selected finally in the interview will have to go through the probation period of atleast one year; however this period can be 2 for the PO and so on.
