RPRC_ Regional Plant Resource Centre is established by Govt
of Odisha. It is a premier institute that deals with the micro and macro
propagation of plants, bio-prospecting, conservation biology, orchid biology
etc.
RPRC has recently published an advertisement for the vacant
positions of Techical_Asst, JRF and SRF under different projects. Candidates

Position- JRF_Jr
Research Fellowship
Total Available Vacancies- Nine
Stipend- Twelve Thousand per month
Educational
Background:
The essential qualification demands master’s degree in
Botany/Life Science/Microbiology/Agriculture/Plant Pathology with sixty percent
marks.
Candidate must have experience in plant tissue culture, and
must be well versed with wet lab practical skills.
Position- TA_Technical
Asst
Total Available Vacancies- One
Stipend- Eight thousand per month
Educational
Background:
The essential qualification demands Post Graduation in
Botany or Microbiology.
Candidates must have two to three years experience in
microbiological techniques.
Position- SRF_Sr.
Research Fellow
Total Available Vacancies- One
Stipend- Fourteen thousand per month (sixteen thousand for
NET/LS)
Educational
Background:
The essential qualification demands Master’s degree in
Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life science with sixty percent marks.
Candidates must have work experience in RT-PCR /Sequencing
and knowledge of bioinformatics tools.
